Itinerary

We will pick you up from the hotel at around 8:30 AM. Then, we will head to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where the Inca Empire built important archaeological sites such as Pisac, Ollantaytambo, and Chinchero. In about 1 hour, we will arrive at Pisac to visit the archaeological complex, which comprises one of the largest archaeological complexes of the Inca Empire. We will explore the area where our guide will provide detailed explanations of each important site, including the Military, Religious, and Agricultural sectors. Afterward, we will return to the town of Pisac to take a guided tour of the Pisac craft market. At approximately 1:30 PM, we will enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba.

Next, we will head to the archaeological center of Ollantaytambo, whose architectural complex served as a residence for Inca Pachaquteq and acted as a fortress during the Inca resistance led by Manco Inca Yupanqui. We will explore Ollantaytambo and then return to Cusco. On the way back, we will visit Chinchero, another archaeological center known for its impressive constructions, as well as the Inca-era archaeological group. In the main square, you will find colonial-era buildings built on Inca foundations. After the visit to Chinchero, we will return to Cusco (arrival at around 7:00 PM, approximately at Plaza Regocijo or Plaza San Francisco in Cusco).
