The citadel of Machu Picchu constitutes the most important of the tourist attractions of Cusco. Discovered in 1911 by the American explorer Hiram Bingham. It consists of two large areas: an agricultural area, made up mainly of platforms and food storage areas; and another urban, in which the sacred area stands out, such as temples, squares and royal mausoleums worked with an exquisite level of perfection. In front of the citadel rises the Huayna Picchu hill, which is accessed by a steep stone path. Only 400 people per day divided into 02 groups.

Day 1. Cusco – Aguas Calientes.

It will be an unforgettable Tour for our Clients, first we will go through your Hotel to pick you up in our Tourist bus at 10:00 am. Then we head towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas for a time of 01 hour and 30 minutes. To then arrive at the Ollantaytambo train station. Then we board the train to the town of Aguas Calientes Machu Picchu an average of 01 hour and 40 minutes. Where our transfer awaits us to accommodate us to the hostel where we will spend the night.

This day we will have the whole afternoon free to get to know the town of Aguas Calientes and the most beautiful thing to be able to enjoy the thermo-medicinal baths (admission cost 10 soles optional).

Day 2. Machu Picchu – Cusco.

After breakfast at the hostel, very early, we headed towards Machu Picchu for a guided tour of 02 hours and a half in the most important places. then we will have free time to explore Machu Picchu. If you wish to purchase the entrance to Huayna Picchu, the additional cost is $10. then lunch on your own. Then return to the town of Aguas Calientes to later board our return train to the Ollantaytambo station, and then take the bus to Cusco. Approximate time of arrival in Cusco 22:00 hours. End of our tour.

  • Tour day 1: departure 10:30 am to 2:00 pm.
  • Tour day 2: departure 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.

    After the tour, you can take a stroll around the Plaza de Armas and its surroundings, where you can appreciate the work of Cusco artisans in the craft shops. You can also savor the famous and unique Peruvian cuisine in nearby restaurants or simply take a break on one of the benches in the Plaza de Armas, enjoying the scenery and taking the classic photo for a warm memory despite the cold Cusco nights. And if you enjoy the nightlife, around the square, you’ll find many discos and bars filled with tourists and locals looking to have fun.
