Day 1: Cusco – Soraypampa

Departure 03:20 a.m. to 04:00 a.m. (due to the work carried out on the route) we leave Cusco, passing through the towns of Izcuchaca and Limatambo arriving at molle pata where we will be at approximately 7:00 a.m. where we will have our breakfast, then we will get ready to start our walk reaching cruz pata, we will continue in the direction of soraypampa where it will be our first camp.

Day 2: Soraymapa – Chaullay

Being 7:00 am we will prepare to taste breakfast and then continue with our walk, touring the entire collpabamba valley where we will have lunch, then we will resume the walk entering the jungle landscape, in this section we will appreciate river formations which later become tributaries of the urubamba river, a variety of orchids and a large waterfall and also this day we can appreciate the majestic salkantay, we arrive to chaullay where we will spend the night.

Day 3: Chaullay – Sahuayaco Beach – Santa Teresa

Continuing our walk after a comforting breakfast we will start our walk appreciating a variety of coca crops, considered the sacred leaf of our ancestors which is currently cultivated in tropical areas, this last section will be downhill to the beach and from there towards Santa Teresa where we will spend the night.

Day 4: Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes

sunrise will be in a tropical area full of history and nature, where our breakfast awaits us ready to taste and then we will continue our journey towards Machupicchu town… getting to this town will take us approximately 7 hours, passing through the well-known hydroelectric rest center (hydroelectric train service – hot waters: optional), making stops in different places to simply appreciate the landscape and its surroundings full of waterfalls with impressive falls which come from the glaciers, arriving in the afternoon at the mentioned town which is popularly known as “hot waters”, there we will spend the night in a hostel at the foot of the Inca citadel of Machupicchu.

Day 5: Machupicchu – Cusco

At dawn around 4.30 in the morning we will ascend to the majestic Inka city of Machupicchu where we will visit accompanied by our guide for approximately 2 hours, and the rest of the day free in which you can visit Huayna Picchu, Inti Punku, temple de la luna or simply visit the entire citadel once again, we return in the afternoon to the town of machupicchu town depending on the schedule of our return train which we will announce once you book your trip with our company

    After the tour, you can take a stroll around the Plaza de Armas and its surroundings, where you can appreciate the work of Cusco artisans in the craft shops. You can also savor the famous and unique Peruvian cuisine in nearby restaurants or simply take a break on one of the benches in the Plaza de Armas, enjoying the scenery and taking the classic photo for a warm memory despite the cold Cusco nights. And if you enjoy the nightlife, around the square, you’ll find many discos and bars filled with tourists and locals looking to have fun.
